Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for leading multi-discipline continuous improvement efforts and leveraging opportunities to resolve gaps and process problems that lead to declining performance or a significant impact on business/customer needs. You will lead teams, facilitate collaboration, and use technical tools to monitor, analyze, and evaluate solutions that resolve issues and mitigate risk. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for leading multi-discipline continuous improvement efforts and leveraging opportunities to resolve gaps and process problems that lead to declining performance or a significant impact on business/customer needs Facilitates and leads cross functional teams participating in continuous improvement efforts; including management, multi-level, and multi-functional teams; both related to continuous improvement and compliance issues. Has advanced skills to use more technically complex tools including statistical process control, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, failure modes and effects analysis, and other tools relevant to continuous improvement efforts being supported Monitors the implementation of continuous improvement actions to ensure the effectiveness of implementation Prepares continuous improvement reports to summarize results and to identify recommended improvement actions Analyzes and recommends solutions to mitigate performance risk Prepares continuous improvement reports to summarize results and to identify recommended improvement actions and facilitates report-out of results and recommendations Reviews project risk registers, project action item lists, condition reports, and other sources of information to identify continuous improvement efforts Recommends and drafts revisions/amendments to corporate and/or GBU-level continuous improvement programs/plans Identifies, develops, and brings forward continuous improvement tools and techniques that result in improved delivery of services, the identification and resolution of business gaps, declining performance, and other significant impacts on business performance Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with significant in-role experience or Six Sigma Master Black Belt candidate Certified Causal Analysis Lead- recognized expert in field Required Knowledge and Skills: Recognized as advanced contributor with specialized skill set Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization, resolves a wide range of complex issues in creative and effective ways Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of variable factors Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Works without supervision with wide latitude for judgment Total Rewards/Benefits: For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
