Your role at St John of God HAH We are seeking applications from Senior Physiotherapists to join our Healthcare at Home team at Mt Lawley , on a casual basis. The Senior Physiotherapist works independently and demonstrates a depth of experience, and is expected to initiate and participate in teaching, training, research and quality activities, to supervise students and supervise and mentor junior caregivers. The Position Provide high quality evidence based senior Physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the clinical specialty area/s including hydrotherapy where applicable. Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation at a senior practice level for complex and general caseload/s. Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers. Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff. Participate in evidence based clinical research activities, where applicable. Active participation in the multidisciplinary team including clinical meetings Document in the patient/client’s healthcare record in accordance with the SJGHC policies and procedure We are seeking a someone with senior clinical experience and leadership in a clinical practice as a physiotherapist within a healthcare or disability service. You will be required to undertake professional supervision and/or mentor junior staff, to promote professional competence and staff growth. Successful applicants must be registered with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a registered Physiotherapist, hold a current National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
