Located in the Adelaide BioMed City precent, it will have more beds, theatres, and greater emergency capacity – and increased scope for future expansion. Healthy environments are an important element of the project as we set out to build one of the first all-electric public hospitals in Australia. Set in Adelaide’s iconic parklands, the site will provide people with a connection to Kaurna country and allow our dedicated clinical staff to provide a therapeutic approach to patients to enhance their recovery and wellbeing. The Senior Project Officer – Procurement will be responsible for: Leading procurement activities for the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project including planning, documentation, supplier negotiation and contract management. Ensuring procurement processes comply with DHW specified delegations, policies, standards and procedures. Leading and / or coordinating a range of complex and/or sensitive projects, including reporting, document control, issue resolution and escalation activities Monitor, evaluate and report on the status of project deliverables / actions against project objectives defined at commencement to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are met. Apply skills and experience in the authoring and preparation of high level procurement documentation, project plans, submissions, policy and briefings in accordance with government legislation and guidelines.
