As the Senior Project Officer, you will: Participate as a proactive team member in contributing to the Branch outcomes. Plan and lead delivery of the training and standards for air services and report on progress in meeting QPWS&P obligations. Financial management of the projects, including undertaking procurement and purchasing activities, preparation of budget submissions, financial monitoring and reporting. Prepare and/or coordinate, review and progress briefing notes, project plans, reports, correspondence and submissions. Ensure the accurate and timely input of information into divisional and regional reporting systems. Research and analyse information and provide recommendations and advice to Senior Management. * Proactively build, sustain, establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders as required, including QPWS&P regions and staff, other government agencies (local, state, federal), in house legal, Indigenous peoples, and special interest groups Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.
