About the Role We’re searching for a fully qualified and experienced Spray Painter to join our car restoration paint shop team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on iconic vehicles in a workshop built on reputation and quality. You’ll work closely with the Paint Shop Manager, taking ownership of the paint and finishing process from preparation through to final polish. What We’re Looking For Trade-qualified automotive spray painter with 10 years’ experience. Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, materials, and equipment. Excellent colour-matching ability and attention to detail. Experience working on classic, vintage, or performance vehicles (highly regarded). Problem-solving mindset and pride in quality workmanship. Positive attitude, good sense of humour, and team-focused approach. Key Responsibilities Manage paint mixing room workflow and prioritise restoration jobs. Mix and apply paint systems including 2K solid, basecoat, acrylic, and enamel. Prepare, mask, and paint panels, chassis, and components to the highest standard. Polish and finish completed paintwork to a showroom or restoration-quality level. Liaise with customers and team members professionally. Assist with general workshop duties when required. About You You’re someone who takes pride in perfection, a painter who values craftsmanship, heritage, and teamwork. You bring technical skill, consistency, and creativity to every project, and enjoy being part of a culture that celebrates precision and authenticity. Requirements Qualified Refinisher/Spray Painter with a strong portfolio. Australian citizen, permanent resident, NZ citizen, or valid work visa holder. Current Australian driver’s licence and own relevant tools.
