We are opening a boutique, organic retail wine store in the heart of Surry Hills. We are looking for a Retail Liquor Store Manager who shares our passion for organic wines, storytelling and exceptional customer service. The role: Lead and manage store operations and engage with customers to ensure excellence in customer service and store standards. Online order fulfilment and customer service. Promote the brand image and showcase FAB’s range of products Conduct in-store tastings and other promotional activities Maintain store presentation to the highest level Educate Australian customers about organic wines and the benefits Train and develop any Casual/Part-time team members, fostering a productive work environment Stock control, managing inventory and supplier relationships, including coordinating special orders for customers Ensure compliance with all legal and company regulations regarding alcohol sales Participate in exciting industry-related activities such as wine events and supplier education programs Ideally, you: Possess at least 2 years of experience in managing a retail liquor store Thrive in working independently, delivering superior customer service and enjoy interacting with people Be well-presented and comfortable guiding tastings with customers Exhibit outstanding leadership and management skills Have strong knowledge and a keen interest in organic wines and a willingness to continuously learn Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and honesty Ability to work full-time hours on a flexible roster including some late nights and weekends Have a valid RSA or willingness to acquire one Full time working rights and availability Be passionate, self-motivated and results driven WSET Level 3 or equivalent is highly desirable In return we offer a competitive salary and commission/bonus, access to company products and discounts, industry events, and career growth opportunities.
