About the roleThis role’s primary responsibility is to provide effective, solution-based support the Insurance Manager in providing our corporate group and stores with a professional and valuable service in the handling of their claims. Your key responsibilities will include:Have a broad & technical approach to handling of all claims across all classes of general insuranceAbility to analyse initial causation efficiently and professionally to provide & plans out an effective claims’ responseCollaborate with external claim manager to assist the entire claim journey, including:Preparing reports clearly and articulatelyEfficient follow up systems with all stakeholdersRegular communication with insuredFollowing up correspondence between insured, underwriters, assessors and alikeMaintaining Claims Status Reports and or systemsEnsure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to policies and procedures both internally & domesticallyKey performance indicatorsHigh level verbal and written articulation across all communication streamsGreat level of rapport and respect amongst colleagues and industry professionalsAbility to respond to all enquiries and requests for action in a timely and appropriate manner, also could prioritise across many claims’ variablesEffectively close claims and keep open status cycle to a minimumProvide timely turnaround of requests About youProven experience (2 years) in ISR claims or Casualty claims is essentialUnderstanding and knowledge of Insurance Claims environment & regulatory changesStrong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer serviceHighly organised, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, friendly and courteous mannerProven ability to work as part of a national team What you should knowAside from the usual things you should expect from any organisation, we also offer our team the following: Discounts across all our brands.
