The Role - This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract A Melbourne Based Role - Please Only Apply If You Currently Live In Melbourne, Australia. This is not a remote role. In this role, you will support the transition of the Duck Creek Implementation moving towards an operational state. This role will support the delivery of enhancements, change requests, root cause analysis and resolution of defects. Additionally, you will provide insights on maintaining and improving performance and quality of the solution in partnership with our delivery partners. Key Deliverables and Responsibilities Oversee and execute design, development and deployment of IT tickets related to Duck Creek policy Work closely with the quality assurance team on testing efforts Development of Duck Creek Policy and Party, including but not limited to Duck Creek Manuscripts, User Admin setup and SQL database queries Identify, debug, and resolve bugs or issues independently Adhere to development standards and present technology solution during code reviews Collaborate closely with internal technology team, Product Owner, Duck Creek and our SI technical resource. Skills, Experience and Qualifications MUST HAVE worked on 2 Duck Creek Policy Administration System (PAS) implementations (ideally Asia-PAC experience) IDEALLY HAVE 5 years working experience on the Duck Creek PAS MUST HAVE Duck Creek Policy functional and technical knowledge and experience documenting requirements IDEALLY HAVE worked 1 Duck Creek on Demand (DCOD) project IDEALLY HAVE a strong understanding of Duck Creek standards and best practices, and of Duck Creek’s inheritance model Training and certification in Duck Creek university and related certification desired. Minimum 3 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation. Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL, XML, XSLT, and JSON. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.
