The Location Sandbrook , a 109 bed residential aged care facility located in Burleigh Waters. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services. The Role You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families. Weekday & weekend shifts available, with potential opportunity to take on additional shifts in a Cleaning or Care Service Assistant capacity. Your duties will include: Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents’ garments Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments, Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry To be successful, you will have: Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.
