About the Role As Senior Associate, Indigenous Outcomes, you’ll be part of a passionate team working to strengthen Indigenous engagement across NAIF-funded projects. You’ll support project proponents to develop and deliver Indigenous Engagement Strategies, build relationships with Traditional Owners and Indigenous organisations, and contribute to shaping practices and policies that centre Indigenous voices and deliver real, lasting outcomes for community. Key Responsibilities Support proponents in developing and reporting on Indigenous Engagement Strategies Conduct research and analysis to inform NAIF investment decisions Build relationships with Indigenous communities, Traditional Owners, and stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement of NAIF’s Indigenous engagement processes Assist with communications, case studies, and stakeholder engagement activities Provide guidance on Indigenous affairs to NAIF leadership. Contribute to strategic partnerships with Indigenous organisations and government stakeholders What We’re Looking For We’re keen to hear from candidates who bring: Experience working with Indigenous communities in economic or social development Strong understanding of Indigenous culture, protocols, and engagement practices Excellent communication, research, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-impact environment Willingness to travel and engage with communities across Northern Australia Experience working in government or infrastructure sectors is a bonus, but not essential.
