We are currently looking for a Procurement Specialist with demonstrated experience in providing effective management of procurement activities throughout the procurement lifecycle business engagement, category management and managing strategic vendors. Job Requirements: Support the design and delivery of category plans for nominated categories of spend. Ensure procurement activities are implemented in accordance with internal policies and industry best practice. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and support them to deliver their procurement outcomes. Partner with the business to manage strategic suppliers. Ensure all policies, procedures, tools and systems are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks. Conduct analysis and reporting on procurement activities and key performance indicators. Support the delivery of procurement activities, contract management and governance activities. Lead procurement activities on projects. Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and outcomes. About you: Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience in providing advice to the business on interpretation and application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR’s). Training or experience managing strategic suppliers, including complex issues (e.g. audits, disputes, re-negotiating or service levels). Experience managing challenging and complex relationships with business stakeholders to influence outcomes. Experience at assessing business feedback to refine and improve policies, templates and tools to support the procurement process. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in building and implementing category strategies. Demonstrated advanced experience in providing commercial advice to the business and understanding their business strategy and procurement needs. Demonstrated advanced experience in leading procurements and strategic sourcing activities, including leading cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes. Degree qualifications relevant to the Bank’s procurement activities is desirable. Procurement certification (e.g. MCIPS) is desirable.
