The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostics, servicing, and repair of a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities · Conduct diagnostic testing and accurately identify faults · Repair and replace diesel engines, transmissions, steering, braking, and lighting systems · Perform preventative maintenance on light vehicles, prime movers, and agricultural equipment including cotton pickers · Carry out test drives to ensure safety and performance · Maintain accurate service logs, records, and parts inventory · Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain workshop standards Requirements · Trade qualifications in Mechanical, Automotive, or Heavy Vehicle Engineering · Solid experience in diesel diagnostics, servicing, and repair · Strong IT and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-diagnose faults · Physically fit with strong attention to detail · Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) · Good organisational and interpersonal skills · Valid driver’s license Benefits · Competitive salary package based on experience ($40-$45 per hour) · Permanent, full-time role in regional NSW · Supportive and friendly work environment · Opportunity to work across a wide range of equipment, offering variety and career growth
