THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO and DIDO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. In this role, you will: Servicing and maintaining equipment and vehicles Maintenance record and documentation Plant and equipment inspections Attending to breakdowns Working on Hydraulic systems Perform basic automotive electrical works ABOUT YOU Highly established attention to Safe work practices Australian-recognised Trade Certificate with post-trade experience Experience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skills Demonstrated problem-solving skills Ability to document and maintain traceability on all works undertaken Experience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment; Diesel EWP’S up to 135ft, Telehandlers, Buses, Tilt Tray’s, Excavator, Skid Steer Loader, Scissor Lifts, Light Trucks, Light Vehicles Generators up to 132KVA The successful candidate will have: Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Mechanical NSW Tradesperson Certificate License High-risk work License (with WP class) (desirable) Current Unrestricted Driver’s License White / Blue Construction Card ABOUT PHE GROUP & PHE MINING PHE Group is an electrical and instrumentation contractor with five specialist divisions and more than 50 years’ experience.
