As the Assistant Production Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the Production Planner within our tissue culture lab to monitor outputs, coordinate despatch, and prepare reports to ensure the efficient, timely, and accurate delivery of plant cultures. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for process improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Assist in preparing and updating production schedules aligned with demand and resources Monitor daily and weekly outputs, escalate issues, and generate accurate reports Coordinate despatch readiness and track delivery progress Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting workflow enhancements SKILLS & EXPERIENCE To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate the following capabilities: Tertiary qualifications in administration, science, or a related discipline (advantageous) At least one year of experience in planning or data analysis Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with some exposure to Power BI or other reporting tools is desirable Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Valid, unrestricted Australian working rights ABOUT US Driscoll’s Australia is an exciting joint venture company owned by Costa Group - Australia’s leading integrated growing and marketer of premium quality fresh produce and Driscoll’s (USA) – the world’s market leader in berries.
