A leading local engineering & manufacturing outfit is looking for experienced Welders to join their clean, professional workshop. This role works with a specialist team that designs, fabricates and assembles engineering structures and components. The role Casual position with transition to permanent after a 3-6 month trial period Fabricating and welding light, medium & heavy gauge steels Working with mild steel, aluminium & stainless steel MIG welding (essential) and TIG welding (preferred) Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Measuring, cutting and preparing materials Working in a team environment with hands-on fabrication tasks We're looking for someone who can Demonstrate solid MIG welding experience Preferably have TIG welding experience Read and interpret technical/engineering drawings Show mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills Be reliable, punctual, and work well both independently and within a team Be safety conscious and committed to best practices What you'll get Immediate start Casual rate over $50/hr (commensurate with skill) Clean and professional workshop environment Opportunity for ongoing full-time work via permanent transition Work with a company that handles design to fabrication to assembly If you're a qualified welder eager for stability, good pay, and a high-quality working environment, send your resume now.
