Maintenance Team Leader The Company This well-established agribusiness is a leader in its specialised field, supplying both domestic and export markets. With strong systems, a commitment to safety, and a focus on sustainability, they are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to play a key role on one of their flagship farms. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Farm Manager, this role combines leadership with hands-on technical work. You’ll take ownership of the machinery workshop, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard and operations run smoothly — especially during peak harvest (February–May). Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day maintenance and servicing of a diverse fleet of farm machinery and equipment Provide rapid response to breakdowns to keep harvest operations on track Manage workshop budgets, inventory, and spare parts Develop and enforce safety standards, SOPs, and JSAs Oversee, mentor, and guide workshop staff, liaising with maintenance crews and contractors Support seasonal planning to ensure uninterrupted farm operations Machinery & Equipment Tractors, ATVs, and specialist harvesting machinery (shakers, sweepers, pickup machines) Sprayers, fertiliser spreaders, trailers, and bins Chainsaws and essential small tools for day-to-day operations About You Trade-qualified mechanical background (agriculture, horticulture, or related industries preferred) Experience managing workshop safety, SOPs, and JSAs Strong organisational, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills Financial confidence in managing budgets, stock, and reporting Leadership skills — capable of motivating, mentoring, and guiding a small team What’s on Offer Base salary of $100,800 incl. super fully maintained company vehicle 10% annual bonus Overtime paid during harvest (April–May) Relocation support available for the right candidate Long-term stability and career development within a respected agribusiness Why Join?
