The NCCD process is a national requirement whereby schools are required to ensure that students with a disability can access and participate in education on the same basis as their peers. We are seeking an experienced and passionate NCCD Coordinator to support the educational and wellbeing staff to collect and track any adjustments made to assist students with a disability access the curriculum. The NCCD Coordinator works with multiple parties across the organisation to support and implement the NCCD process across the school. The position is located at Arcadia College in Robina and Varsity Lakes, QLD, and is offered as a permanent part-time, term-time role, working 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday from 8:00am – 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm. Key Responsibilities: Support the NCCD Team with entry and tracking of all relevant NCCD data. Upload NCCD documentation to students Learning Support Profile and NCCD G Drive folder. Maintain a database of students included in the NCCD. Track evidence collected and number of students included in the NCCD on ‘evidence tracking spreadsheet’. Liaise with Year Level Coordinators around student inclusion in the NCCD and evidence collected. Liaise with NCCD Manager, Principal, Assistant Principals and NCCD Team on a regular basis around evidence collected and number of students included in NCCD. Attend NCCD moderation meetings for each year level and present and analyse evidence. Use evidence collected to inform NCCD categories and levels of adjustments for students. Track Individual Education Plans (IEP), Individual Curriculum Plans (ICP) and Individual Support Plans (ISP) for students included in NCCD. Obtain and upload all annotated data recorded on Google forms (Teaching staff and Wellbeing Staff). Liaise with the Psychology team around students being Imputed for NCCD and evidence requirements. Minute taking in NCCD meetings. Participation in data review and submission for Census. Participation in NCCD Audits. Assist Leadership in drafting Confidential School Statements for students applying for AARA. Assist in writing IEP’s Assist in supporting the IEP process Assist in supporting the ISP process Mandatory Requirements: Understanding of Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and Disability Standards for Education 2005. Understanding of NCCD requirements and process. Possess the skills and qualifications to undertake the position. Relevant administration skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications.
