QR is currently expanding its activity in Australia and we are looking for an ILS engineer to join our Melbourne team. Responsibilities: Perform ILS related activities such as reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) analysis, level of repair analysis (LORA), and life cycle cost (LCC) modelling Conduct Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) studies Support the acquisition and sustainment of maritime systems through supply chain, maintenance, and technical data management Prepare and review technical maintenance plans, supportability documentation, and configuration management artifacts Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders for ILS deliverables and technical reviews Ensure compliance with Defence and naval standards, regulations, and contractual ILS requirements Must have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline Minimum 2 years' experience in ILS engineering, preferably within the Defence maritime sector Strong analytical and documentation skills, with proficiency in configuration management tools Experience developing and reviewing ILS technical documentation, reports and maintenance plans Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline Clearance minimum) Understanding of ship systems design, delivery and technical sustainment Nice to have: Experience with naval projects, platforms or operating environments Familiarity with Defence software systems for ILS and configuration management (e.g. CMTU, SAP) Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder engagement Knowledge of relevant Defence and maritime regulatory frameworks and standard Location: Melbourne, VIC Perks of role: Join a team that listens to your input A light-hearted culture Join a fast-paced team with opportunities to build your career Develop your talent and progress your career with training, mentoring and support, plus a strong focus on well-being and work-life balance 24 days of Annual Leave plus Sick Leave and Long Service Leave Yearly away and team bonding trips What we offer you: Every individual is equally valuable in building tomorrow’s world today at Alten/QR_.
