We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Retail Food Service Assistant Manager to lead daily operations at our busy roadhouse and food service venue . This is a dynamic role that combines leadership, customer service, front-of-house duties, and team development. A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate is required. Key Responsibilities Manage daily front-of-house activities with a focus on exceptional service Maintain high standards of hygiene across dining spaces, roadhouse, and truckie amenities Maintaining inventory and stock control Support the growth of new and current staff through training and skill development Reconciliation of accounts and daily financial reports Provide frontline support to customers and staff, handling questions and concerns with care Oversee planning and execution of events and functions Manage and ensure the accuracy and currency of food safety records Coordinate kitchen staff in meal preparation and service, ensuring customer satisfaction. Create and oversee weekly rosters, maintaining adequate staffing levels Maintain flexible schedule availability to meet operational requirements Ensure food handling practices meet safety regulations
