Purpose of the Role In this role, you will be responsible for supporting applications and reporting that is critical to Treasury and Market Risk, underpinned by various technical platforms and databases. Technical Environment Windows SQL server T-SQL SQL server reporting services (SSRS) Python VBA and VB.net Main Supported Applications Wall Street Suite Razor Report viewer Intraday and EOD rates MIS Reporting Key Responsibilities Develop and support reports and extracts, including identifying relevant data sources and developing code to retrieve relevant information. Provide support and maintenance for in-house applications, including issue identification, error fixing, and developing additional functionality. Offer support and guidance to end users of internal systems. Provide support for the line of business systems (Wall Street Suite and Razor) Technical Skills and Experience Required Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services with strong working knowledge of Treasury Management or Financial applications such as Wall Street Suite, Calypso, Murex, Quantum, Reval, Visual Risk or Midas/Midanz Strong working knowledge and technical proficiency in reporting and analysis technologies Development experience with Python and related languages Ability to understand database schemas and identify data relationships Core Competencies Problem solving and critical thinking: Strong abstract reasoning skills in order to make informed decisions, particularly when dealing with financial risk data Resilience under pressure: Ability to think decisively and operate effectively in high pressure and high-risk environments Communication and stakeholder relationships: Apply business acumen to build and foster strong relationships across the business in order to understand and resolve complex problems Domain knowledge: Understand user requirements based on your knowledge of the money markets Why Join TCV?
