About the Company A specialist in mine water management, offering turnkey solutions including the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of systems such as underground dewatering, HDPE pipelines, pump systems, borefields, tailings facilities, and aquifer re-injection systems. Based in Canning Vale, with additional operations in regional WA and NSW, they service the resource sector with technically advanced and bespoke water infrastructure solutions. The Opportunity This role is for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager who brings field experience and technical credibility. You will lead the delivery of construction and installation projects in above and underground mining and water infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to specification. Day to day: Oversee and manage all phases of the projects: planning, execution, commissioning, handover Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and change control Coordinate design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover phases Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure clear communication and expectations Monitor progress, track KPIs, financials, and reporting Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively About you You are someone who has ‘come up from the tools’ — you understand the realities on site, have technical grounding, and have transitioned into project leadership. You bring credibility with teams and the ability to lead by example. Key experience & attributes: Demonstrated experience managing construction projects in an underground mining environment Strong background in mining or resource sector projects Experience (or familiarity) with pump systems, dewatering, water transfer infrastructure or associated water management functions is a strong plus Experience managing all project phases: design, procurement, construction, commissioning Skilled in budget & schedule management, cost control, risk management, and contract management Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills Safety first mindset with strong commitment to quality and compliance Ability to travel 1-2 nights per week Culture & Values They pride ourselves on technical excellence, integrity, and collaboration.
