The Role: We are seeking a Box Maker / Warehouse Assistant to join our Lindsay Rural team in Brisbane on a Full time basis. Monday to Friday roster, 7am starts. This role would suit a mechanically minded person as you will also be maintaining the machine. No prior experience is required - this is an opportunity to learn and start a career, keep our warehouse moving along. Your main responsibilities will include: Safe and appropriate operation of the Box Machine to produce cartons. Pre-checks, manual configuration, ongoing maintenance & cleaning of the machine. Quality checking of cartons and stack & store in appropriate manner. Unloading/loading trucks with the forklift - if valid licence & experience held General housekeeping of yard and warehouse About you: The candidates we are looking for will have: Current and valid Forklift ticket highly regard but not essential Prior experience in a similar environment, use of Box Machine highly regarded but not essential Mechanical background advantageous Good attention to detail with a strong customer service focus. Good work ethic, reliability and good communication skills Able to take direction, work under pressure and to ever changing timelines Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required Able to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging Experience in a rural worksite or engaging with rural clients is highly regarded.
