From classic steamed and fried momos to chilli-infused specialties and hearty Nepalese meals, we are dedicated to quality, authenticity, and a welcoming dining experience that keeps our customers coming back.We are now seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team and contribute to delivering the unique taste of Nepal to our valued guests. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of Nepalese dishes, with a strong emphasis on dumplings (momos), curries, and authentic meals. Develop menus and seasonal specials, ensuring creativity while maintaining traditional authenticity. Ensure food consistency, taste, and presentation meet company and customer expectations. Manage portion sizes, recipe adherence, and cost control to maximise efficiency. Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and timely service. Monitor and maintain stock levels, order ingredients, check deliveries, and reduce wastage. Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards. Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff and kitchen hands. Coordinate workflow during peak dining hours to maintain smooth service and minimise delays. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times. Collaborate with management to implement quality standards, customer feedback, and business goals. Innovate new variations of momos and introduce contemporary Nepalese dishes that align with customer preferences and market demand. What We’re Looking For At least 1–2 years’ experience as a Chef or Cook, ideally with knowledge of Nepalese or Asian cuisines. Strong skills in dumpling preparation and multi-course menu execution. Knowledge of HACCP and safe kitchen practices. Ability to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining consistency. Strong organisational and time management skills. A positive team player with good communication and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent qualification). A genuine passion for Nepalese cuisine, flavour innovation, and creating memorable food experiences.
