About the Hospital Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) is a 183-bed teaching hospital, affiliated with Flinders University and Charles Darwin University. ASH serves as the major referral centre for Central Australia and is a leader in culturally sensitive and remote healthcare delivery. The Anaesthetic Department comprises 4 Consultants and 6 GP Anaesthetists, with accreditation for two years of ANZCA training. The department supports registrars from ICU and ED, GP Anaesthetic trainees, residents, and medical students. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary and collaborative team with strong links to Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Royal Darwin Hospital. What You’ll Do Deliver comprehensive anaesthetic services across elective, emergency, and obstetric lists. Participate in ICU and emergency support when required. Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and medical students. Contribute to teaching, safety, and quality improvement initiatives. About You Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
