Our nurses assist with a variety of neurology cases, from admission through to recovery. We are looking for a passionate, like-minded nurse who is excited by being challenged and who wants to learn from some of the best in the industry. SASH places a huge emphasis on the continuous training and development of our people and our nursing team is no exception, we will ensure you have: A supportive buddy system to see you through your onboarding and initial stages within the department. Varied and interesting case load and opportunity to work with and learn from industry leading specialists from multiple disciplines Working with a full-time anaesthetist Access to cutting edge monitoring and diagnostic equipment including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, arthroscopy and laparoscopy Who are we looking for: Ability to work the hours between 7am & 7pm across a four day working week with occasional on call availability Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technician Degree Experience with case prep, instrument sterilisation, anaesthesia and confidence scrubbing into complex surgeries. Desire to work with a fun dynamic team and a willingness to learn and provide gold standard patient care. Experience in monitoring complex anaesthesia cases. Previous experience in Neurology is not essential, however experience referral nursing will be highly regarded. What’s in it for you?
