About the Role The Educational Leader will collaborate with a strong and well-established leadership team, playing a key part in sustaining the centre’s high-quality educational practice and exceeding rating. This is a dynamic position that blends on-floor engagement with dedicated off-floor time for mentoring, programming, and driving quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS. Manage educational initiatives such as school readiness funding, student inductions, and excursions. Oversee GELG (Guided Educational Leadership Group) meetings - 8 hours per week. Support reflective practice, goal setting, and professional growth across the centre. Collaborate closely with the Centre Director and CLT to maintain the centre's exceeding rating and prepare for A&R visits. About You You’re authentic, passionate about working with children, and a natural communicator. You’re driven and supportive of others’ success. You are well-connected and community-minded. You are organised with a great eye for detail. You are a strong leader, articulate, commercial and professional. Fully registered Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). At least 3-4 years experience or 10 years diploma and new ECT qualification. Proven experience as an Educational Leader (preferred). Strong mentoring and leadership capability. Confidence in managing curriculum planning, compliance, and reflective practice. Ability to balance on-floor engagement with strategic educational leadership. Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF. Current First Aid Certificate and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates. Current Working with Children's Check.
