We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer with strong 12D modelling skills to join a respected engineering consultancy delivering large-scale land development projects across QLD. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of detailed civil design delivery across a range of urban development projects. About the Role You will play a key role in producing high-quality civil design documentation for projects typically involving 200–1000 residential lots. The successful candidate will be confident working across bulk earthworks, road geometry, stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation, with a strong understanding of relevant local standards and constructability requirements. Key Responsibilities Deliver detailed design using 12D Model , supported by AutoCAD, across a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. Prepare models and documentation for: Bulk earthworks and lot grading Road alignments, intersections, and verge treatments Stormwater drainage (pipe and surface flow) Sewer and water reticulation Create detailed design outputs: long sections, cross sections, layouts, and construction documentation Liaise with engineers, internal teams, local councils, and service authorities. Review design information and respond to construction queries during the delivery phase. Support project coordination, design compliance, and client deliverables. What You’ll Bring Proven experience as a Civil Designer in a consultancy environment, ideally 5 years. High-level proficiency in 12D Model , particularly in greenfield subdivision and infrastructure design. Understanding of Australian design standards Ability to work independently and manage design tasks across multiple projects. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline will be highly regarded. Why Join?
