We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused 6G Pipe Welder to join the team at a busy Henderson workshop . This is a Short-Term contract starting with 1 week in the Henderson workshop followed up by 1 week on site. An excellent opportunity for an experienced welder with a strong understanding of welding procedures and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: Perform 6G welding primarily in pipe and pressure equipment fabrication. Ensure all welding work complies with Australian Standards and company procedures. Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions. Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure structural integrity and finish. Follow all safety protocols and ensure correct use of PPE at all times. Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to a strong safety culture. Work collaboratively with other trades and workshop personnel. Skills and Experience: Experience in welding (TIG) Ability to pass a weld test (6G position). Sound knowledge of welding codes and standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced workshop environment. Requirements: Trade Certificate or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication. White Card. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
