We are seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer to join our team and play a key role in securing new projects. About the role: You will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tenders, proposals, and cost estimates for high voltage electrical works, working closely with project managers, estimators, and design engineers. Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical input. Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to bid strategies. Ensure tenders are compliant with technical, commercial, and safety requirements. Work collaboratively with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness. About You: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or trade qualified Minimum 3 years’ experience in tendering, estimating, or engineering within the electrical contracting or within the power industry. Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems and construction methodologies. Ability to read Electrical Schematic drawings Previous tendering experience in Civil and electrical infrastructure is desirable Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
