Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients. TAFE SA is now inviting applications from suitable candidates, in line with the selection criteria outlined within the Role Descriptor and Industry Addendum.The successful applicant will have:Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Fabrication and Welding, with current, hands-on industry involvementTrade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate IIICertificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or TAE40116Strong expertise in advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding, along with comprehensive fabrication skillsUnderstanding of current fabrication industry trends, knowledge and cultural practicesFamiliarity with the MEM Training Package and its application in vocational educationProficient in using digital tools (e.g. email, PowerPoint, web-based platforms, spreadsheets, and Office suite) to support training deliveryExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleague Please refer to the Industry Addendum and Role Descriptor for the full list of requirements.
