The Opportunity – 12 Month Day Rate Contract: We’re seeking an experienced Stream Lead to play a key role in our Technology and Corporate Transformation Program — a cornerstone of our broader business transformation strategy. In this role, you’ll lead critical workstreams, guide the transition to our new Strategic Partner, and ensure our technology services are ready to support the next chapter of Energy Australia’s journey. Responsibilities include: Lead delivery of assigned Technology Stream within the Technology and Corporate Transformation Program, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality outcomes are met. Manage the transition of support services from EA and incumbent vendors to the new Strategic Partner, mitigating risks and ensuring continuity of operations. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners) to align activities, resolve issues, and maintain program momentum. Provide leadership, oversight, and direction to team members and workstreams, ensuring alignment with the broader Transformation Strategy. Monitor and report on progress, risks, and dependencies to the Technology & Business Unit Leadership, escalating critical issues as required to maintain program execution. What we are looking for: This is a unique opportunity to shape the way EnergyAustralia’s Technology Department operates, enhancing services for both internal teams and external customers, while driving initiatives that contribute to a greener energy future. You will have some of the following experience: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project management, or a related field; Accreditation from PMI (PMP) or AIPM (CPM or CPPD) or equivalent highly regarded Have a strong track record of delivering major technology, business, or service transition programs that required significant change across people, process, and culture – IT/Technology & Utilities experience highly regarded. Thrive in dynamic environments, applying advanced strategic planning and project management skills to deliver results under pressure across multiple methodologies (Agile/Hybrid). Are highly skilled at influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, vendors, and partners, building trust and alignment at all levels. Lead with a collaborative, “can-do” mindset that inspires teams, fosters flexibility, and keeps momentum strong through complexity and change. Act as a delivery mentor and role model, building capability within teams and uplifting project delivery maturity across the organisation.
