This role can be based in our sites either in West Melbourne, VIC or Regency Park, South Australia. In this role you will be working closely with multiples sites and customers across Australia. Working with some of our largest clients, this role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion. This role would suit an energetic and innovative leader who has multi-site experience in embedding a risk-based approach to keep people safe both physically and mentally. You will actively lead the advancement of safety across multiple sites by providing proactive coaching and mentorship to enhance awareness, responsibility, and participation in Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) among team members across the Transport functions. This is an exciting, permanent position suitable for a seasoned professional with a strong background in safety & well-being awareness. This role will be working Monday to Friday with on-call requirements as needed. Key Responsibilities: Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site safety plansEmbed a risk-based approach with a focus on every day, critical and psycho-social risksCoach and mentor leaders through a combination of site visits, facilitated training and workshopsDevelop and maintain systems with a focus on risk, health, compliance and customer expectationsManage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventionsMeasure and report on performance, trends and outcomes Are you the one? You enjoy a hands-on role coaching, influencing, mentoring and providing specialist workplace health and safety advice to workers and leaders to drive safety across our sites, coupled with your ability to work in an open, collaborative and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role.
