About the Business Our Safer Family Services team delivers a range of services, including intensive family support and multi-agency responses, to help children stay safely at home with their families and avoid the need for out-of-home care. They also help families with parenting support, workshops and connection to community events and initiatives to improve child safety and wellbeing. Role Details The Administration and Communications Officer is a role within Child and Family Support and is accountable to the Business Support Officer for: • Providing comprehensive administrative and communications support services for Parenting SA and Families Growing Together. • Ensuring that administrative systems, processes and tasks are implemented to a high standard. • Ensuring all communication projects are effectively promoted through various communication channels, and targeted appropriately to parents and caregivers, government and non-government agencies and private services in relevant sectors. • Delivering quality and considerate customer service, including handling administrative and communication tasks, financial activities and data base operations in a timely manner. • Managing complex work tasks and regularly liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements and priorities. Special Conditions National Police Check required. Employment-related Screening Check required. Some out of hours work may be required. Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required. Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C). Must comply with any order, direction, policy or procedure of the Chief Executive or delegate to receive vaccinations.
