About the role The Production Specialist will be responsible for production and warehousing activities, including cleaning and forklift work, using standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure deadlines are met in a safe manner. This is a part time position, working 25 hours per week. What you will be doing The role involves carrying out production and warehousing tasks (including forklift operation, cleaning, weighing, batching, mixing, packing, and labelling) while following SOPs to meet deadlines safely and efficiently. We’re looking for someone who can: Operate equipment safely and correctly, ensuring inspections, calibration, and reporting of any abnormal conditions. Maintain quality standards by accurately recording production details, conducting sampling, and supporting laboratory analysis. Handle logistics, including safe loading/unloading of raw materials and finished products, as well as assisting with Enlog’s warehousing and deliveries. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, legislative, and company requirements while proactively identifying and reporting hazards. Contribute to teamwork by communicating openly, giving feedback, and maintaining a positive work environment. Support site upkeep through cleaning, inspections, and periodic site checks. Qualifications and Experience Experience in a similar role (preferred, highly regarded) Current Forklift Licence Proficient maths skills (weights and measurements) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Clear communication skills (verbal & written) Effective time management and organisational skills Team player with good interpersonal skills Basic computer literacy Reliable, honest, and punctual with a strong work ethic Ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements Why work at DGL Group?
