About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Chef to join their aged care team near Mackay, QLD. Location Facility located in the pristine Pioneer Valley just west of Mackay. Offering a unique blend of natural beauty, history, and rural charm. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver fresh, nutritious meals in line with dietary guidelines. Follow food safety protocols and safe work practices (HACCP). Participate in seasonal menu planning and discussions with dietitians. Provide texture-modified meals (IDDSI) and special diets as required. Engage positively with residents, respecting their preferences and cultural needs. Support ongoing quality improvement and audit activities. Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and food service regulations. About You: Proven experience in a similar cooking role, ideally in a healthcare, aged care, or clinical setting.
