About the role I’m recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Developer to join a project that will make a real difference for Queenslanders. You’ll be part of a team building a new, innovative website that helps people navigate their training options and make informed decisions about their future. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own backend systems, integrations, and data workflows. Your work will help turn complex data into fast, reliable, and user-friendly experiences. What you’ll be doing Designing, building, and maintaining backend systems and integrations. Working with Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform to manage and move data efficiently. Developing APIs and custom scripts to connect systems and optimise workflows. Cleaning, normalising, and preparing data for web use, while improving performance and load times. Troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements to keep systems running smoothly. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and your team to make sure solutions meet real-world needs. Keeping documentation, standards, and processes up to date. What we’re looking for Strong experience with Microsoft Dataverse , including tables, relationships, business rules, and APIs. Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps or Power Automate. Solid backend skills, including building and consuming RESTful APIs and scripting (JavaScript or similar). Strong understanding of relational databases and data handling best practices. Passion for problem-solving, delivering practical solutions, and improving systems. Ability to work independently and take ownership, while collaborating effectively with a team.
