The Role We are seeking a high calibre property portfolio manager to join our property team based at our state of the art office above our flagship store in Nunawading. The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for strategic management, growth of the store network, development and execution of the Group property portfolio at a national scale. A key component of the role is also to drive the development, operation and management of a LFPF (Large Format Property Fund) and its sub-funds, which involves rent review, lease negotiation, and financial management. We are looking for a strong operator who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves reviewing and negotiating lease agreements and is also comfortable formulating and providing strategic input in the growth of our national property portfolio. Key responsibilities will include but is not limited to: Develop and implement the property strategy plan nationally. Identify, research and recommend sites that align with the company strategy. Engage with owners/agent to negotiate agreements and deals in line with the company strategy. Undertake due diligence and governance on lease agreements in accordance with legal and business requirements, this includes any due diligence work associated with LFPF property acquisitions. Assist in negotiation and settlement of new site acquisitions. Provide management and direction on all national portfolio leasing matters with the support from the property team. Manage monthly financials linked to LFP, LFPF and its sub funds. About You Proven leasing and property portfolio management experience preferably in the large format retail, property development and real estate sectors. Strong understanding of Australian property law and demonstrated ability and experience in reviewing lease documentations Ability to translate strategy into workable action items for execution with the rest of the property team. Understanding of the Retail Leasing Act nationally and how they all operate. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience leading and coaching a small team. Working knowledge of working with Lease Eagle or similar leasing software.
