A community-focused medical centre is seeking a General Practitioner who is passionate about community health and is driven to make a significant impact. Located in Kuranda , a DPA-approved location within the lush, tropical surrounds of Cairns, this position is ideal for both VR and non-VR GPs , including international medical graduates, with locum opportunities also available. The centre functions as an unofficial Acute Non-Emergency (ANE) ruralist emergency medicine facility, servicing the wider community and tablelands. It works closely with Queensland Health to deliver comprehensive healthcare with a strong focus on chronic care, social and well-being, and Indigenous health. The practice is equipped with six consultation rooms, two treatment rooms, and a nursing station.
