We're looking for a Assistant Manager to join our Costs Dispute & Compliance Team on a fixed term basis. You will be responsible for managing and developing staff who respond to a high volume of consumer and disciplinary matter complaints using various regulatory tools, including informal resolution, mediation, investigation, costs reviews, and recommendations for determinations and/or compensation. We are looking for candidates with the following: Substantial experience in customer service, complaints handling, or regulatory environments, with demonstrated team leadership and people management skills Strong understanding of legal practice regulation, and proven ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and case law Highly developed communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills A high level of computer literacy and ability to use information technology resources conscious of confidentiality and privacy A formal qualification or accreditation in Alternative Dispute Resolution or significant experience in dispute or complaint management That sounds like me!
