Heidelberg Materials is looking for a bold, visionary leader to take on the newly created role of National Supply Chain Optimisation Manager; a position that sits at the heart of our transformation journey toward 2030 and beyond. Based at our Skygate office, near the Brisbane DFO, this role is about reimagining how we plan, produce, and deliver concrete and aggregates across a national network of concrete plants. What You’ll Do Lead national performance improvement across concrete production and logistics. Champion the National Supply Chain Strategy and ensure alignment across all regions. Shape the future of the Customer Service Centre to deliver consistent, customer-centric outcomes. Champion standardisation across delivery scheduling and allocations, concrete batching, and plant maintenance. With help from relevant subject matter experts, lead the development of a centralised approach to concrete plant maintenance planning and scheduling, improving reliability, reducing downtime, improving synergies and paving the way to enable predictive and remote capabilities in the future. Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent execution and achievement of KPIs and drive strategic alignment. Represent the Supply Chain function in national forums and cross-functional initiatives. About you: Strong leadership and change management experience, with a focus on transformation and innovation. Expertise in supply chain operations, ERP systems, analytics platforms, and stakeholder engagement. Experience managing large-scale operations, ideally in concrete or aggregate supply chains. Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management. Exposure to automation, remote systems, and digital transformation is highly valued. Your experience could come from a range of backgrounds, including supply chain, construction materials, tech/digital, CX Leadership, manufacturing, logistics, military, aviation, and transport.
