With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   The Role: An opportunity is available for a Urology Registrar to join the team at Northern Health.  This is a fixed-term, full-time position until 1 February 2026.  Urology Surgery at Northern Health provides both elective and 24/7 emergency care for patients across the northern region of Melbourne. The Urology Registrar's role involves assisting with the coordination of urological services at Northern Health.  The Urology Registrar will work alongside and supervise the HMOs (PGY 1-4) assigned to the unit. Responsibilities include participating in regular ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, audits, teaching, research activities, and unit on call which is generally one in three.  To be successful in this role you will have: Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); Proven ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment; A drive for continual learning and professional development; and Completion of at least 2 years post-graduate work in a tertiary hospital in Australia or equivalent  Next Steps . . .
