We're looking for compassionate and reliable Christmas Casual Support Workers to join our Newcastle team over the holiday period. You'll be providing support to clients in their homes across a range of suburbs including Merewether, New Lambton, Lambton, Elermore Vale, Carrington, Charlestown, Swansea, Eleebana, Whitebridge, Mayfield, and Maryland . Shifts (varying depending on client needs) Morning shifts : 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM Lunch shifts : 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Afternoon/Evening shifts : 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM Please note: shift times may vary depending on the client and day. Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 What you'll be doing: Providing personal care and daily living support Assisting with medications Supporting clients with mobility and transfers, including use of a sling hoist Assisting with bowel and catheter care (training provided if required) Completing documentation at the end of each shift Your Certificates and Licences: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current) Working with Children Check (Current) Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You First Aid and CPR (Current) All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
