Sr. Business Analyst – This initiative will achieve the integration of IAG's new policy platform, Guidewire , into our client’s systems. Guidewire will replace the current Huon platform and will be a vehicle to drive efficiency, improve member experience (including our digital experience ambition), and enable new insurance product offerings. The Sr. Business Analyst will support the successful planning of a major transformation program across our client’s Insurance portfolio. 6 Month Contingent Hybrid Work Arrangements – 3 days in office Must Have Skills Proven ability to engage with senior-level business stakeholders , influence decision-making, and manage competing priorities Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions across business and technical teams Experience supporting planning, process mapping, and risk management , including defining risk ownership 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in technology transformation or integration projects Experience leading requirements scoping, workshops, planning, impact assessment, analysis and documentation of business processes, requirements prioritization, and benefits identification in agile projects or squads Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder reporting and documentation What You'll Need to Be Successful Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field Experience preparing and supporting Business Cases and project planning Ability to manage challenging stakeholders while maintaining focus on project outcomes Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify those impacted by changes to processes, procedures, technology, and ways of working Undertake analysis, design, modelling, and documentation of business processes and procedures for (as-is) current state and defining (to-be) future state Facilitate requirements elicitation and grooming to meet business, technology, and digital needs such as UX/UI, usability, and customer journey Produce detailed business requirements, epics, user stories, prototypes, and wireframes to support implementation and testing by technical teams Identify and document risks, constraints, assumptions, dependencies, and integration requirements for technical, data, or process-driven projects Experience in business process modelling (BPMN) or similar, and requirements analysis techniques such as UML Experience using Jira and Confluence , system integrations (APIs), and data mapping Proficiency with tools such as Atlassian, Office 365 , and process modelling tools like Visio or draw.io Nice to Have Experience within the Insurance sector CBAP , Business Analysis certification , or Process Mapping certification Exposure to initiatives across multiple industries, from small enhancements to large-scale implementations in regulated, service-driven environments Familiarity with agile delivery environments and enterprise-scale transformation programs
