ConsultANZ is seeking a Project Engineer – Environmental Compliance to join a complex civil infrastructure project in New Zealand. You will be responsible for leading environmental compliance and performance, applying your expertise in environmental management, testing, and team leadership to make a meaningful impact. Main Duties: Lead the delivery of environmental controls in line with the programme Implement and manage the EMP and ensure RC & CEMP compliance Monitor and test for sediment, turbidity, noise, and dust compliance Lead emergency response and fire management planning Manage reinstatement, stabilisation, and subcontracted landscaping scope Coordinate with client teams and ecologists Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Management 8 years’ experience in environmental leadership on infrastructure projects Trained in erosion and sediment control (preferred) Skilled in inspection test plans, environmental monitoring, and HSE compliance Benefits: Competitive salary with long-term career development opportunities.
