About the Role BMD Constructions, together with Abergeldie and KBR (as ABK Joint Venture), have secured South East Water (SEW) Integrated Planning and Delivery (IPD) capital works program as part of a milestone 10-year contract. We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join our dedicated SEW panel projects team. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery teams to uphold and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple water infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance, promote a positive safety culture, and drive best practices. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site safety support and guidance to project teams. Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Assist with incident investigations and reporting. Facilitate toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training. Ensure compliance with legislative and client HSE requirements. Promote a proactive and collaborative safety culture. About You Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent). Experience in a similar role within civil infrastructure or utilities. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels. Valid driver’s licence and construction white card. Why Join BMD?
