Description A day in your life at MBB Group: Providing practical, innovative and tailored solutions to complex problems, to private business and government agencies, across programs and projects. Oversee day to day management, development and implementation of Risk management frameworks, standards applying best practice in risk management processes, while leading a team of project controls professionals Facilitate identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities, and issues. Support teams throughout the project life cycle, in the adoption of risk-based decision-making, analysis and problem solving, the development of treatment strategies to mitigate minimise risk exposure, as well as Provide advice, direction, and assurance relative to the risk processes within the project and liaise liaising with contractors, clients, and other relevant personnel. Provide guidance to delivery teams and key subject matter experts to ensure risks are identified, evaluated, and reported and that tasks and controls are developed and implemented to reduce or avoid that risk Perform qualitative risk assessments on cost and schedule risks to ensure proactive identification and mitigation of key project risks. Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses using quantitative risk modelling software to inform and track against contingency budgets, and report the outputs of the risk analysis, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Promoting MBB's capabilities and brand to both current and potential clients by producing high quality work, leveraging contacts, networking opportunities, and participation in industry events. Being an active member of the team mentoring others. Skills And Experiences To be considered you need to show a good combination of the below: Be based in Brisbane and be legally entitled to work in Australia. Have 10 years working in risk management in energy, infrastructure, utilities or mining Tertiary qualification(s) in Engineering, Commerce, Law, Business or Risk Management. Sound experience facilitating or performing quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, and the use of probabilistic simulation tools such as Deltek Risk, Lumivero @Risk, Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis or Safran Risk. Experience in applying risk management principles and using risk management software solutions like CURA, Protecht or Sword Active Risk Manager. Superior stakeholder and client management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong business acumen and critical thinking able to work autonomously.
