A Senior Civil Operator is required to lead and coordinate the operational maintenance of our Rural drainage networks extending across the Southwest Region. You will possess a high degree of leadership and planning skills. You will mentor and share your knowledge and skills by providing advice to drainage customers, liaising with the Shire/Stakeholders ensuring legislative and company compliance. Coordinate and manage effective operation, maintenance, and repairs to Rural Drainage assets in the Southwest Assist with job planning to ensure safety and equipment is appropriately resourced and meets required standards. Provide advice and/or assist Trainees, Operators and other contractors as required. Liaise with Shires, consultants, and contractors for works projects to ensure legislative and company compliance. Records and documents information relevant to the scheduled work in an accurate and timely manner, including use of forms, computers and other devices as required. Ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety. What we require from you. As a minimum, completion of Certificate III in National Water Package (NWP) Valid Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s License (HR a bonus) Available for rostered overtime and call-out emergencies outside of normal working hours. High degree of technical knowledge skills relevant to the district assets or ability to demonstrate from a similar industry. Experience in heavy machinery operations; Tractors, Excavators, Skid steer How we can help you grow.
