We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic Operations Supervisor to join the team on a permanent fulltime basis. You will be working closely with the Operations Manager to achieve set business goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities Build team and individual capability, through effective leadership Monitors daily performance of operational personnel - drive compliance and quality Ensures that driver arrivals and debrief process are completed on time and any issues resolved immediately Support the daily management of linehaul movements and allocations Daily management of equipment and effective reporting- bars, belts, boards, etc Manage performance of team, provide development/training and disciplinary action where required Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of operational requirements and performance as required Pre-loads completed as per daily plan Provide Operations Manager with input in terms of workload and shift planning Work closely with internal stakeholders Support all areas of the operations re allocation of resources (drivers, dockhands etc) to assist in the prioritisation of workload Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (CoR - D&A - etc), COPE and business unit polices. Actively participate and engage in company initiatives that contribute to the improvement of the business Actively participate and engage in employee health and wellbeing programs aimed at reducing absenteeism including injury rehabilitation, return to work plans and training.
