About the role A current Vacancy exists for Assistant Retail Shop Manager for our store located at Caringbah. The Assistant Retail Shop Manager is responsible for assisting in the relieving store management and complimenting the Store Manager. Developing strategies to provide great customer service, drive store sales and increase profitability Ensure the store is staffed appropriately, staff are recruited as required, trained, coached and managed, and that the store and staff comply with Ranier’s policies and procedures; Ensure customer needs are met, and customer complaints are resolved efficiently by the team; Ensure all products are merchandised effectively, with the appropriate stock levels; Support the training of other Store Managers We are looking for an active, well presented, friendly, and motivated person who enjoys customer interaction and is motivated to learn about our various products so they can provide the best in-store experience for every customer from any number of our schools. Friendly and approachable, with a can-do attitude to customers and team members Ability to undertake retail functions: sales transactions at POS, greeting and listening to customer needs, assisting the store manager and other team members in restocking & merchandising, tidying, packing, cleaning and answering phone calls Ability to be training on our POS system (Instore training is provided) Trustworthy and accountable for instore security and transaction accuracy Flexibility and availability to work during school holidays, and peak times e.g. back-to-school Experience in retail clothing or children’s retail environment (preferred but not essential What can you expect from us?
