Full Time Max Term Opportunity | 6 Months Contract Based in Lewisham | Hybrid Work Available $100,000 - $140,000 super Salary packaging You will support the alignment of service models and care delivery with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards, legislative requirements and evidence-based practices. This includes developing policies and protocols, designing and delivering training programs, and leading audit readiness and compliance to support the service to meet NDIS accreditation requirements (mid-term audit in November 2025). You will work in partnership with central support functions such as Risk and Assurance to support the development and implementation of incident, clinical quality assurance and audit systems. You will also work with an agency working group that ensures key policies and training are fit for purpose across other organisational areas (e.g. aged care / home care services). About the Role: Some of your responsibilities will be: Spearhead NDIS Audit Readiness & Oversight: Drive our organisation’s preparation for NDIS audits—including structuring and delivering detailed audit reports, identifying risks, and providing strategic recommendations. You'll communicate audit outcomes to senior management and key stakeholders, and ensure all compliance records are meticulously maintained. Shape Industry-Aligned Policies & Guidelines: Lead the development and review of standardized policies, practice guidelines, and procedures, ensuring they uphold the NDIS Practice Standards, legislative mandates, evidence-based best practices, and the needs of participants. Champion Compliance with NDIS Regulatory Frameworks: Monitor and uphold compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's requirements, including NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, incident reporting, and participant safety protocols. You’ll ensure our disability services consistently meet legislative and regulatory standards. Design Workforce Competency Frameworks: Support the creation and refinement of workforce competency frameworks—defining the knowledge, skills, and responsibilities expected in NDIS service delivery roles. About you: To be a successful candidate you will have: Ability to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with CatholicCare Sydney’s Mission, Vision and Values Tertiary qualification in area of allied health, disability, behaviour or related field. Registration at proficient level with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission High level knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct, relevant legislation required. Demonstrated experience developing and leading policy and procedure development, practice guidelines, and workforce training programs Demonstrated understanding of key risks and incidents related to the provision of care and service delivery in a disabilities care setting, and the management of clinical needs and risks Experience with developing clinical quality assurance processes (e.g. clinical audits), and achieving regulatory compliance Strong organisational skills, including the capacity for critical thinking and a systemic approach to prioritisation.
